FCD's Directors Education programs are accredited by (ISS) Institutional Shareholders Services. FCD is committed to providing the highest quality director education designed to improve corporate governance practices.
Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) is the world's leading provider of proxy voting and corporate governance services. Located in Rockville, Maryland, ISS provides proxy research, voting recommendations and governance advisory services to financial institutions and corporations worldwide. ISS’s proprietary rating system, Corporate Governance Quotient (CGQ), ranks the corporate governance performance of more than 5,400 U.S. companies. ISS’s new global CGQ expansion includes ratings for 2,000 companies in key European, Asian, and Canadian markets. Considered to be the world’s leading authority on corporate governance, ISS’s CGQ is designed on the premise that good corporate governance ultimately results in increased shareholder value.
Participants will receive an FCD certificate upon completion of eight hours of director education within one year. Directors’ Institutional Shareholders Services (ISS) records will be updated accordingly for people serving on public boards, contributing to the possibility of boosting the ISS Corporate Governance Quotient scores for all boards on which individual directors serve. The CGQ is a rating system designed to assist institutional investors in evaluating the quality of corporate boards and the impact their governance practices may have on corporate performance.
Sign-in sheets are available at registration for each FCD event offering ISS credit. Be sure to sign in to receive credit for attendance.
FCD maintains records of all attendees' credits earned and reports are available at any time to check your credit status.
