The 2007 Director of the Year honorees and their categories, are
- Life Achievement Award: John Grundhofer, former President of Wells Fargo Bank and Chairman Emeritus of U.S. Bancorp in Minneapolis, and director on four corporate boards, including BJ’s Restaurants, Inc.
- Corporate Leadership and Service: Linda Fayne Levinson, former Senior Advisor at GRP Partners in Los Angeles and director on six corporate boards, including Ingram Micro, Inc.
- For Corporate Citizenship: J. Fernando Niebla, President of International Technology Partners and director on four corporate boards, including Pacific Life Insurance Company and Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc.
- Corporate Governance: John Cardis, retired Vice Chairman and National Managing Partner for Global Strategic Clients at Deloitte & Touche LLP, director on three corporate boards including Edwards Life Sciences Corporation and Avery Dennison Corporation.
- Corporate Growth and Development: Jim Peterson, President, CEO and director of Microsemi Corporation and director of SimpleTech, Inc.
The 2007 Director of the Year festivities will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
