Please join us for an intimate and interactive roundtable discussion
that will provide practical advice for corporate board members on how
to handle increased scrutiny by the SEC, DOJ and institutional
shareholders in the post-Enron world. You will have an opportunity to
get insights directly from the sources on the best – and the worst –
ways to respond when investors or the government come knocking on your
door, along with what you can to do hopefully prevent them from coming
at all.
Our panel will include Mike
Wilner, Assistant U.S. Attorney for Los Angeles (and former SEC Staff
Attorney); Zachary Carter, co-chair of Dorsey & Whitney LLP’s White
Collar Crime practice and member of the Board of Directors at Marsh
& McLennan Companies; and Andrew R.A. Stewart, Senior Vice
President at FRM Hedge Funds in New York City. Moderating our
discussion will be Mike Piazza, Dorsey trial partner and former
Regional Trial Counsel for the Los Angeles office of the SEC.
Following the moderated panel presentation, time will be devoted to
case question analysis in breakout groups, affording participants the
opportunity for an in-depth discussion of key topic elements with their
peers and the panelists.
